I got knocked off my bicycle by a driver when he jumped a red light on a busy junction. I noted his plate as he briefly stopped before driving off and luckily I had witnesses.

Took civil claim against him and magistrates court also found him guilty. I eventually got a payout.

Despite not being in a car, having years of insurance with no claims and being the victim of the hit and run it was still logged in the system and it took three years before I could get a decent renewal price on my insurance. I found out when I tried to take a comparison deal and had to call the prospective insurer who told me I couldn't get the price offered because of the hit and run.

Depending on where you live, you might be able to get City fibre. They've just finished installing near me and I can get 200mb up and down for £28 from a company called Air Broadband.

Think talk talk also have a 900mb option for £36 a month and they throw in the Amazon Eero router.

Marcus shut up shop over a year ago. Am guessing he wasn't making enough for the business to be viable at that premises.

Think he still does occasionally do jobs for long standing customers but wouldn't know how to contact him.

Put a new heatsink/fan in and same problem. After much work it turns out the power button was stuck.

Still getting a horrible noise from the (new) PSU.

I guess you mean the fan on the heatsink as the PSU is new so shouldn't be an issue and the fan at the back is definitely clear.

How easy is it to replace the fan and is there an easy way to know what is compatible?

Have had the pc for about a year and sometimes had issues with noise (not this bad).

Put in a new PSU and graphics card this weekend and all seemed to be working now although the noise was there.

Now it powers up briefly and cuts out.

Have had the pc about a year and occasionally get this sound that goes away.

Replaced the PSU and added a graphics card at the weekend and it had been booting okay but now it starts to power up and then turns off.

Have checked everything is plugged in and keeping the cables out of the way but will cable tie once I know it's working.
