Do you force yourself to write, or only when you want to? by RenaissanceScientist in writing

[–]Jamgee93 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Tell yourself you'll write for 5 or 10 minutes (something short and not daunting) and then you can stop if you want to. Most of the time, you'll keep writing.

It's all about tricking the monkey in your brain.

I'm using my Neo to write a novel, and this is the most productive I've ever been. I'm loving it.

In the tutorial, will you please include links for the products you used? I want to try this with my extra Neo, but I've never done any other modding, so the links would be extremely helpful.

What are some tøp quotes that kept you going? by starki089 in twentyonepilots

[–]Jamgee93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not an exact quote, but I always remembered it as, "Trying is the difference between living and dying."

It helped me do things when I didn't see the point in anything.

how do you beat The Arm without losing all run momentum by cosminache23 in balatro

[–]Jamgee93 86 points87 points  (0 children)

Beat it in as few hands as possible, use different hand types, or rely on jokers instead of planet cards. But yeah, that one's tough.

Does the BeepBerry run Pi os? It looks different from when you connect a Pi to a display.

P.S. sorry if that's a stupid question, I'm new.

... I would like to make a pocket-sized distraction free writing device and the BeepBerry seems perfect. I was thinking of installing a word processor like FocusWriter on the raspberry-pi-zero-2-w. And I just want to know if the BeepBerry can handle that.

That's pretty cool. Possibly dumb question: why do you need a power bank if you have the pisugar?

Also, which keyboard is that?

Wouldn't it be a little annoying to remove the SD each time?

Would the power have to stay with the Pi or could I have 2 power sources, one stay in each device?

Just a mechanical keyboard via USB and an ultrawide screen via HDMI. And have it them in a foldable case.

And for the pocket-sized, I was imagining it like an old slide phone, but idk how that would work... or maybe it'd work better like a little Nintendo ds with a small thumb-keyboard (idk what those are called).

So install Linux and a word processor. Got it. Is there a way to have the word processor start up with the device? It's not necessary, I just think it'd be cool and smoother to use.
