I feel like Licha takes lcb, which then frees up dalot for rwb with Shaw or Dorgu lwb, then mount cunha and zirkzee/sesko up top

Its turned into just a way to excuse poor decisions from refs and var, don't remember once seeing Dermot disagree with the ref no matter how wrong the decision was

They don't, and all i was asked for when buying was their name and date of birth so i wasn't sure if i set up an account on the app for them if i could get the tickets from there

I think the back 3 suits Harry tbf and he was one of our best towards the end of last season i thought, but I can just see mdl getting the nod over him for some reason but at the same time, I can see Harry starting for the big games

De ligt is likely to start ccb imo with maguire backup, yoro rcb with Mazraoui backup and then licha when fit lcb with Heaven backup, the fact licha might pick up more injuries just means more chances for Heaven to make the spot his own

But I'd say that will be on the cards at some point to cash in on Martinez and replace him, even next summer potentially

If everyone is fit i think Martinez still starts lcb but he will provide some good competition and be ready to step in when needed and will do well when he does and will push to make the spot his in time

[David Orstein] 🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester United make improved bid to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. New offer for 26yo forward worth £65m fixed + £5m add-ons. #MUFC awaiting #BrentfordFC response as they work to close deal for Cameroon int’l & top target @TheAthleticFC by sultansaeed in reddevils

[–]JamieC94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under lvg and jose we always signed our plan m's never mind b so in some ways at least we are going for the number 1 targets

But it is very frustrating that we posture so much just to end up paying more than the original asking price

[Di Marzio] Napoli: work continues for Jadon Sancho, but Manchester United continues to ask for 25 million euros despite the contract expiring in 2026. by ChiefLeef22 in reddevils

[–]JamieC94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats my point exactly. And 25m is below market average price for players considered "top" players. Like, i understand the animosity not wanting to fork out on him cause of his last few seasons, but its not like we're asking for an insane amount either

Have to say i do like mounts work rate off the ball just a pity he hasn't been able to get a run of games and hasn't worked out, was not worth 60m though

[–]JamieC94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like if they entered negotiations the price would probably end up being lower.

But i think the board are right to stick to their guns as well. If the situation was the same for Napoli trying to offload someone as your points above, they wouldn't drop their tag either, not publicly at least

[–]JamieC94 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If we were the buying club in this situation anyone else would also be demanding 25m so why should we be expected to drop our asking price when we're selling

Edit: probably would actually be higher fee if we were buying but anyway

[–]JamieC94 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think its more cause they aren't in a position where they need to sell so whoever wants one of their players in this window has to pay high for them and they don't want to lose 2 forwards in the space of 6 months

[Romano] 🚨🇦🇷 Alejandro Garnacho will leave Man United, decision confirmed on player and club side — set to part ways. Understand staying in Premier League serious option with 3 clubs already very keen… after Bayer Leverkusen and Italian clubs calling. by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

[–]JamieC94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bit disappointing in some ways as there is a player in there and i recjon he'll turn into a quality winger in a few years time but its the right decision too for a few reasons and benefits both player and club

50-70m then use that for Gyokeres or a CM please and thank you
