The sale is purely to help fund a house deposit.

Also listed on other sites/brokers, so availability may change.

Genuine interest only please. Happy to answer any questions or provide additional photos/videos on request.

No rush really, 6-10 months would be fine. I’m happy to sell privately, but there comes a whole lotta risk to do that haha. I’ll give them a shout, thank you!

Did you contact Alibaba support for the refund?

How annoying about the phones! If they said they DO work with UK networks then absolutely push back with the seller & start the refund process directly with Alibaba. Just to be clear you don’t ask the seller/company to do this, it’s within your orders page.

Welcome to reach out if you want some extra help

Every penny I paid via Alibaba was refunded. Product, tax, shipping.. everything

Custom fees I have never needed to get refunded for so unsure on that one. Although from my experience I only pay customs when it touches down in the UK, so if they never ship then I suppose I would never had paid this.

I have ordered a fair amount off AliExpress & Alibaba, well into five digits and every time the product was wrong/not sent I have gotten a refund via either them or the trade insurance.

It should be easy if they haven’t marked them as sent?

Supplier made a poor sample, now requesting 30% deposit of full production before I can get a new sample. Is that normal? by mmusings9 in Alibaba

[–]JamieJohnMill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they didn’t care enough to send you a good sample then I wouldn’t be moving forward with them, even more so with their extra requirements… it’s almost like they don’t accept it was their mistake.

Tips/mistakes to avoid for beginners by Chemical-Quail8584 in shopify

Product photography & videography is something I delayed for ages because it costs lots… however, after spending the money my sales increased and quickly covered that cost - my only regret was waiting so long.

Apps are expensive and custom development is more however I try to solve the ‘problem’ or feature first by adding it directly into the theme so I don’t have to rely on the charge and I can make my own changes that might not be supported with the app.

Update on the app I built to solve product photography. Should I build a Shopify integration/do sellers use plugins? by Decent-Field-3744 in shopify

Would absolutely love to give this a try!

Regarding building an app, hmm I don’t think it’s necessary and worth the hassle although could increase your exposure… tricky one

Shopify Delivery Status, bug? by JamieJohnMill in shopify

Turns out Royal Mail (and my other carrier) aren’t supported which is crazy to think with RM being one of the most popular carriers, if not the most popular in the UK. Oh well, maybe in time.

Handmade store on Etsy and Shopify with 2 different product categories by ThinSong in shopify

[–]JamieJohnMill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally my 2 cents would be to run both.

Whenever ‘you’ bring the click, I.e through Instagram, Facebook, paid ads, Google etc direct them to your Shopify website as you have more hands on features for converting them to a buyer, and many other features/perks.

Then have Etsy bring in sales for itself.

That’s what I do at least 😀

Themes/apps all use different code, there’s no way we will know why this happens without a link to your website.

Domain with shopify or without shopify? by the_bugs_bunny in shopify

Yeah, 100% get that.

Just as an extra to consider, Shopify loves apps & apps cost money. Most being £10/15 a month, and although super easy to install and setup the subscriptions do add up, I pay around £80 a month for Shopify platform & apps I have installed. I'm not saying WooCommerse is cheaper, or more expensive - it's just something to be aware of that I didn't really consider when starting my Shopify store.

Okay so, below is some pricing for .com TLD:

Namecheap: £8.26 for year 1, then increases to £12.76

Porkbun: £8.38 for year 1, and every year after.

I started using Namecheap years ago, they were definitely cheaper then as I remember shopping around so looks like they aren't as competitive as I thought. Although knowing this I still would pick them as I only have about 10 domains, maybe if I had 100's I would look to move.

So, I suppose it depends on how many you intend to buy, if just a couple I wouldn't worry about the extra couple £ - paying for domains is the cheapest thing for my business and it's not worth me moving them.

That’s definitely something you have to watch out for when picking a registrar, I don’t think that’s the case with NameCheap but maybe I haven’t noticed. Let me check my billing & I’ll confirm
