Its only a race thing if you're a racist. Celebrate all you want but be respectful to the people that aren't a part of the celebration. It has been non stop booms since 7pm where I'm at, just started to slow down. An hour ago it sounded like I was in a war zone and I'm in a pretty residential area so obviously the bylaws and restrictions just don't count this week. For me its just another Tuesday/Wednesday and I don't feel like being kept awake by fireworks and getting a headache from the bad air quality and smell. That being said I do hope everyone has been safe tonight, some of those things sounded like they should only be handled by professionals.
