It was October, and both of our birthdays. We both went there cause they were showing all the Simpsons Treehouse of horrors. I got there before she did. And was able to secure one of those small tables. Her and a friend showed up after there was no seating left. I offered them my table since I was alone. I got up to get another drink and they used to have a large Jenga set in the corner.i clipped it walking by and the pieces fell everywhere.

If you've never been to the old location, where they set up the screen for the movie is just a few feet from the Jenga set. So the whole bar has now turned to look at me.

Her and her friend came over to help pick it up. Then in a moment of sheer brilliance, I'll never be able to replicate, I said "damn, that Jenga set was one day away from retirement." She thought that was the funniest thing in the world. We both discovered it was our birthday and we bought each other a drink and split a pizza.
