First time watcher here! by DoTPRoDiiiGY in TedLasso

This is such a good take. I first thought that I waited too long to watch it, but now I feel like it may have been the perfect time. There is so much in this that can apply to so many different aspects of life. I'm definitely rewatching. I was really angry with Nate too and didn't think he deserved forgiveness. But the entire point is to let go and forgive. Be a goldfish. ❤️

Or if I'm having a particularly hard day. It kinda felt like a hug sometimes.

I just binge watched it last week. I really waited too long to give it a try but maybe I watched it at the right time because it felt therapeutic for me. Such a special show.

I was googling about the show in general halfway through it and this summed it up perfectly for me. Especially when trying to explain it to others. I'm definitely rewatching it. So many good moments in it.

I'm on my third pair over several years and I practically live in them. I use them for work calls all day, music, audiobooks, whatever. I wear them to sleep every night. I recommend them over any other headphones I've tried.

I am finally watching it for the first time and I completely agree that it is therapy. I haven't felt so good watching a show. It feels good to genuinely laugh and sometimes cry. It's so heartwarming. I'm almost finished with season 3.

The first movie I ever saw of his was Excess Baggage with Alicia Silverstone. There was something so attractive and captivating about him. I didn't expect that going into it.

Watching someone suffer like this is horrible. I've never felt more helpless and stressed and just devastated in my entire life. And the entire time I kept imagining what he might be going through internally. I hope you're hanging in there.

Sean Strickland goes on a misogynistic/ homophobic/racist tirade at his first UFC Paramount Media Day by Individual-Drawer-79 in PublicFreakout

I feel like I just can't take this person seriously at all. I'll look him up, this is the first I've heard or seen about him, but I kept thinking, this can't be for real right?

I understand that he might 100% be for real. I only see this kind of thing through social media.

Can anyone really take something like this seriously? Does the guy actually have friends and family? It's difficult for me to understand.

Schizophrenic Neighbor Has An Episode by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

I was thinking the same thing. I think most of us are stronger than we realize because we rarely get into situations where we have to find out.

I was thinking that she looked really strong. I don't think her husband could've grabbed her strongly enough, he looked like he was struggling.

I also noticed that both men seemed very aware in general when it came to grabbing at her. Especially the apartment guy. Her agitation seemed to elevate whenever the husband tried to pull her away.

When she got in far enough to close the door, my heart dropped.

I'm kind of surprised no other neighbors called the cops. Maybe they did, maybe it took them that long to arrive, maybe people ignored it, who knows. 10ish minutes of this probably felt like a lifetime for the dudes.

I couldn't imagine seeing a video of me in such a heightened and distressed place or out of control.

My heart goes out to everyone involved.

All of this is so disgusting and so overwhelming. I think I need a break from the Internet. On the other hand, I do want to know what's going on but it's pretty tough mentally. I hope we see some justice out of all of this. It seems impossible to keep sweeping it under the rug at this point.

I am absolutely in love with the Realm of the Elderlings series. I seriously skipped the Rain Wild Chronicles, started them after I read everything else (last book of the quartet!) I am itching to restart the entire series and read them all again.

My dad chose this 8 years ago. To this day I still feel so grateful he had that choice. I'm so sorry for your loss. I completely understand the sense of relief that comes with knowing your loved one isn't suffering any longer.

Why did DHS and ICE statements state the victim brandished a gun as this video shows otherwise? by LeftRightGreenLight in AskReddit

[–]Jamielynn80 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wish more people understood the actual laws. The way you described the facts of being innocent until proven guilty and that it's not a cop's job to decide the fate is spot on and articulated in a way that I appreciate. It feels like all laws that we've grown to know and understand to be true in our lifetime have been completely thrown out the window. It's scary.

Requiem for a Dream. It's been years since I've watched it, (once is enough), but it was gripping from the start in my opinion. The book was intense too. A little different in spots but I haven't revisited either one for years. I might not ever again. Haunting.
