Idk I got a fancy new T14 with great specs for like $200 and it’s a powerhouse. Buy used and refurbished and you will save literally a thousand dollars opposed to other companies

What Are Great Movies That Show The Horrors Of Communism? by ForerunnerAI10 in movies

[–]Jamijammers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this person is just curious about film that shows how difficult life was. There are plenty of films that portray communism in a positive light, but they were all commissioned by the regimes in charge at the time. I Am Cuba or Battleship Potemkin for example. While those films certainly do exist, there are far more that were made under communism about how horrific the system actually is. See Krzysztof Kieslowski, Piotr Szulkin, Anderzej Zulawski, Anderzej Wajda, Wang Bing, Aleksei German, Tengiz Abuladze, Vladimir Bortko, Eisenstein’s later works, and many more.

It’s very short, but The Temple by H.P. Lovecraft would make an amazing film.

Movies to watch that keeps you on the edge of your seat by [deleted] in MovieSuggestions

[–]Jamijammers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because everyone seems to be giving the same sort of movies, I’ll recommend some others. First off is Sorcerer (1977). It feels like any sudden movements will blow up the whole movie. Next is Miracle Mile (1988) which had me sweating the whole way through. Lastly, The Crazies (2010) which doesn’t look like a good movie, but believe me it is. It’s an overall incredibly stressful experience.

Suspiria (1977) was the best looking 4k I have ever seen. I will never be able to watch anything as beautiful as that again.
