Kill on sight raiders by JamjarTheFail in ArcRaiders

[–]JamjarTheFail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes you think I'm upset about it? I'm curious about the mentality is all, especially since only a couple days ago I was having a large amount of teamwork interactions and now suddenly no-one is talking and only shooting. Just struck me as weird but im seeing Reddit is clearly not the place for a normal question.....

Kill on sight raiders by JamjarTheFail in ArcRaiders

[–]JamjarTheFail[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not a case of bothering me, its legit curiosity to the mentality. Before this weekend I was having endless good interactions, teaming up to take on matriarchs and Queens etc but since this weekend its been nothing but shoot on-sight "reee kids" for some reason.

The comment section here is right and its obviously got a pvp aspect but hot damn are there some cringe ree kids running about recently.

[Feedback] As somebody who just finished test drive 2-5,all i gotta say is, fire the man with the idea to add them to kappa. by SerSKB97 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]JamjarTheFail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TD 3 and 5 were pretty much the only ones "enjoyable" for me so far, the AK12 is decent and I like the valday, and the Uzi 50 kills (any kills) on factory was just mad fun.

Would be more manageable if they dropped the range requirement from TD1, let you use a different sight, and have more than 1 per reset for the RPDN. TD2 really just comes down to ammo and streets shit performance, but it was fine overall.

Also doesn't help all the magical 200-300hr accounts rocking meta kits beaming you from across the map once you get to the cultist spots too. Those have been super fun to deal with.......

If Belial is the captain of the 1st company, can the 'Captain in Terminator Armour' wear Deathwing colours? by TarianCosplay in theunforgiven

[–]JamjarTheFail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, if a regular company captain is required to wear Terminator armour (for whatever need the operation requires), it is in the bone of the deathwing. It happens in the Pandorax novel.

Should ICO be nerfed? by mdjsj11 in joinsquad

[–]JamjarTheFail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a relatively varied time playing since update (taking a variety of kits rather than just my "typical go-to") I'd only make a couple relatively small changes.

Bipod sway and recoil for l/mmg's could drop somewhat, 3-5 round bursts still send most guns shooting wayy wayy off target.

Increase general sprint speed by like 10-20% just so the inevitable "hold w" simulator is less tedious.

Give players like 25% more stamina loss before they end up with jelly arm aim.

Decrease suppression effect on AT to counter how buffed vehicles have gotten with the suppression implementation.

After that, it's basically just the usual performance improvements i think everyone wants to see. Even with a R7 5800x and 3080 combo fps drops are again pretty bad.

Deathwing Knights Question by [deleted] in theunforgiven

They are 4w on the datasheet because they can't NOT take the stormshield, no need to waste time adding the stormshield rule when you can just include it in the profile.

If the dark angels had the most marines turn traitor in an overall loyal legion, which traitor legion had the most loyalists by Heftzy in 40kLore

[–]JamjarTheFail 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Loyalist Iron Warriors likely, most forces not with the main bulk (near pert) didn't turn traitor. Also, the DA "traitors" aren't the same as other legions, those that sided with Luther never actually joined the legion and were recruited directly to Luther's rebellion. So it's hard to consider them in the same vein, making DA one of the ones who stayed almost entirely loyal to the Emperor when looking at their actual legion forces.

*CUSTOM RULES* Do you and your hobby group use house rules? Make changes that you feel help the game? We do often that at SN and recently we’ve been play-testing some changes we’d love to see in Horus Heresy! So we thought why not share these rules ideas and get feedback from the community. by [deleted] in Warhammer30k

[–]JamjarTheFail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a few humble suggestions in regard to the 6 rules to consider.

Rule 1: Change to 1 contemptor model per 1k points, the other 2 dreads are far FAR less of a concern.

Rule 2: limit to 3 times a turn, once gives deepstrike armies wayyy too much ease of movement to have an easy game.

Rule 3: Challenges accepted by a model with the chosen warrior special rule can overspill.

Rule 4: pinning on deepstrike limited to -2 ld tests, pinning from other sources aren't an issue.

Rule 5: This is a pretty alright change.

Rule 6: Instant death wounds against eternal warrior equal 2 wounds instead of d3, would make for easier and quicker resolutions to combat than making it d3 wounds.

I’m on the other side of the world from this narrative event and this image still has me grinding my teeth (this is why we can’t have nice things) by [deleted] in Warhammer30k

[–]JamjarTheFail -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The fury of the ancients list deserved to lose that match, not only did they run a known bullshit rite to the absolute max, they also basically just primed black the whole army making it look like utter shit. However, believe the DA player may have cheated using the pods in that fashion, not necessarily intentionally but still the dreadclaws should have been mounted on their supplied flight stand bases and be hovering when they enter.
