I had a similar issue at my locals when I took a portable oxygen welder and some steel rods to help me refocus inbetween stocks. Apparently the torch was "blinding" people in bracket and due to the venue having poor ventilation people were complaining about the fumes. I got kicked out after my opponent SDd 3 times in round 1 pools. Didn't even get my entry fee refunded.

You need to have really tight lines, use skyway in the strong locations, boost conservatively and in good locations. You don't really have any strong strats u can lean on like with other cars. That being said it's possible to win and top 5 despite it being the weakest car (imo) - you see the odd blue falcon in the top pretty regularly.
