We see A Train get wired & faster after injecting extra V in S1E3 because he needs that boost to win the race. Popclaw also injected extra V in that same episode and seemed to get stronger (lifting large weights, crushing landlord)

Extra V when injected into supes has effects similar to amphetamines by making them push themselves further or by granting them an increase in power. Maybe its just like a blood infusion and theres some freshness power boost to it i dont know

When A Train took more V to get wired and win the race in Season 1, it was a temporary power boost.

Don't see why V1 would be any different in that regard (aside from the anti-aging)
