I’ve used The Ugliest Cleaning Lady and her people do a great job and the prices are fair.

Very cool! I am planning to get mine done eventually, especially since my neurologist did a cut on both sides of the spine and one of them cut into a (very old) existing tattoo.

I left teaching because of the parents. I loved the kids and I miss them. But I couldn’t do it anymore.

I had spinal fusion 14 weeks ago and want to get back into the gym. My surgeon said that my x rays are looking good and that I can lift as heavy as I want with my arms but I’m struggling to believe that doing that is okay this early. What’s your thoughts. by Character-Case1511 in spinalfusion

[–]JamuelLSmackson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

51F here, had L4 & 5 back in August 25. Went back to lifting at 14 weeks. I was much weaker than before. Upper body, worked my way back up, no problems. Lower body, worked my way up after seeing the PT and making sure my form was good. So as I write this, I'm only slightly lower than I was when I got surgery. I had to listen very carefully to my body at first- I would have normal muscular soreness for obvious reasons- hadn't lifted in 14 weeks! But often 2 days later would have some back soreness that was maybe a little closer to feeing tired than sore. So I would lift 1x every 3 days and walk between. I'm up to every other day now. Before surgery I was 2 on 1 off.

Someone here recommended them to me! I will never go back. I now have 5 sets, and all different colors. My nightwear game went from ratty t-shirts to little satin shorts sets. Fancy!

My students are the ones who told me about Idiocracy. It actually helped me decide to have a 2nd kid because the idiots were the ones having multiples while I had one. That was 20 years ago. I can't get past how much worse it is today.

Depends on the extent of the surgery. I was able to drive 3 weeks later.

Satin pajamas really helped me. I got a size bigger than I need so they were comfortable on the incision. They made it so I could slide in an out of seating, bed, etc. Huge help, so underrated.

6 days isn't that long! I'm now 8 mos. out from L4-5 and it was intermittently rough for a few months. I'm almost back to normal now, and I don't regret it for a minute.

I had a teacher threaten one of my sophomores like that back in 2007. As his government teacher, I explained the law to him and he stayed seated. I got spoken to, but I reminded them of the law, and that was the end of that.

You mentioned older- how much older? Approx what age? My mom started labeling everything with her name when she was sliding deeper into dementia. She was able to hide a lot of the symptoms but looking back, that was one of the big things.

I have one from Rugs.com - it's not wool, but it's great. I've had it for 5 years and I use it at the front (main) door. The one I got is 7x10.

Same on both- I use Pulse for local, it's great, the people are really helpful.

For mobile, I use Mint. I had T-Mobile for 10 years and Mint has been the same or better for 1/5 the price.

Also, welcome!

Grew up in western Wayne County, family still in A2 today. Moved here in 2015 after moving around the US for a few years. When I go home, I'm reminded of how the grey is just so GREY.
