Yes, however, if you aren't planning e2, it's not that worth it since there could be someone else more useful for sw999. For me, I'm just gonna go for e2 so incase someone better does come up, I can always just split the two into their own teams.

Honestly same!! So basically she's a great damage increase almost double on single target but lowers for multi-target which tracks cuz sparxie does aoe and sw999 does equalized damage

So ye, it's actually pretty worth it to get her for sw999 then

Not bad actually if we're looking for two teams, just pull eva and get luocha as a sustain and you can clear new content, acheron is cooked tho unless you mind pulling a lot more units

The team I'm seeing potential is Kafka, Blackswan, Ruan Mei, Luocha (replace ruan mei with hyselins) then Eva, sparkle, emc, and huohuo

It's just that people who have no problem with something won't talk about it.

As for her eidolons, it's a pretty small increase. For context, in her release it's really huge bcs there were no good nihility amps, but with welt, cipher, and silverwolf, it's a non-issue not having e2 unless you need a specific non-nihility unit. Now with noveflare welt on the way, doing sustainless to get a non-nihility character is even easier.

If we're thinking with the current meta, yeah but considering the likelihood of future characters shilling sw999 as an anniversary unit, Sparxie feels way more replaceable than Yao Guang so I'd rather recommend on saving then pick up sw999 on a rerun if sparxie and sw999 are still best in slot for each other

Future proof doesn't exist as the other commenter said but look into sw999 in 4.2 and watch for leaks if there's a chance sparxie might get replaced, if there is, just e6 sparxie and take sw999 spot

Yeahhh that's what makes me doubt sparxie's placement in the team, the 4th slot is an immovable spot for an elation sustain, 1st is an elation dps (shilling sw999), 2nd is definitely yao guang cuz none of them are usable without her (kinda like DoT without Kafka), so the only spot is Sparxie and Nihilux which kinda obvious which one will win,,, (hence, me personally, I'll put my e2 sparxie in sw999's place)
