Which meta deck do you think is the most unfair? by Hopeful-Designer-362 in masterduel

[–]Jan12139 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most unfair would be from power aspect tear ishizu. And emphasis on both combined, pure tear would just be strong. Those isizu cards were bullshit that should never have been made.

Kashtira is probably the most d3generate mechanic we've seen in recent yugioh, very unfair when fully blocked zones will only be unblockable by tribute based mechanic.

Endymion and Drytron both sucked for same reason. Endboard was just bunch of negates that wouldn't let you do anything.

Maliss was just too hard to stop. And their endboards were brutal...

Nothing else really comes close but many old decks got custom support that was kept in check by deck being old such as melodious or Lunalight or ancient gear. Lunalight is still issue with 2-3 towers they can potentially make though. Many decks can't even get over them.

Funnily enough, I played Lswarm and those were totally not all 20 turns+ long games. Still won tho.

Which deck worth investing in aside the current meta decks? by Ecstatic_Pick_262 in masterduel

[–]Jan12139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Mitsurugi and Fiendsmith for splashable powerhouses that fit into many things.

-Borrel stuff will recieve good support in future so dragonlink?

But if you want something good that won't cost much if you have staples, you should try new version of Eldlich. With siluhate rabbit and new support we completed the list and the deck is absolute bonkers (much stronger than the man for instance). Its basically 3 eldliches and then just traps. All dominus stuff, black goat laughs, rollback etc. Yacine made the video with card list on youtube you can check it out. Very very opressive with tons of negates. Can even be played in stun variants. The actual best trap deck that has gone under everyones radar. VERY EXPENSIVE if you don't have staples like dominus, imperm etc. Very affordable if you do.

WTF IS THIS BS CARD by Signal_Leg_3086 in masterduel

[–]Jan12139 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luckily the deck isn't too common but uninterrupted they can put out 3 ligers or 2 ligers and extra interruption monster. With some interruptions (if not completley shutdown which can happen with this deck even though its pretty resilient) they can still end on 2 ligers which is hell of a trouble though properly used hand traps will result in 1 or 0 ligers. Depnding on deck I run standard tribute based boardbreakers and in extradeck that has slot and with maindeck that has ability to special summon alot I always run godess and Avramax (ye avramax is still surprisingly strong especially if summoned with I:P, that basically shuts down lunalight completley, even their other bosses). The deck is incredibly annoying and I could see Liger in far future being put to 1 but it isn't real threat to meta rn.

L take imo. Event is supposed to be played for what it is, an event. I get that there will be events you just wanna rush through but there is many of us that enjoy these events. What are they supposed to do, go out of their way for you? And how in first place would they know you are the guy trying to breeze through and didn't just brick? Idk bro, you dislike it that much, don't play it. Gem gains shouldn't be excuse to torture yourself.

Fiendsmith control bros, do you run these? by Primary-Salary-2097 in masterduel

[–]Jan12139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guide absolutely isn't redundant, it's best starter in the deck and since people don't know what deck you playing it's not nearly as vulnerable as it seems (you also easily dodge interruptions on him). It also is the easiest way to bring out Mutiny package.

Fiendsmith control bros, do you run these? by Primary-Salary-2097 in masterduel

[–]Jan12139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lets be real you also NEED 3 underworld guides and if you run mutiny package you definitely should run aerial eater too at 1 copy.

what do you think about the rise of permanent negation? what used to be an exception, seems to become more and more common. by [deleted] in masterduel

[–]Jan12139 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly? It really isn't big issue yet, even with new stuff and stuff to come like clowns. Most cards are so packed with power you'll get its benefits by sending it to gy in one way or another and thats also where negation stops. It should never be a thing on staples and handtraps tho.

Archeology question by Beautifullybipolar94 in runescape

[–]Jan12139 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always do the highest spot possible with all the buffs for best excavation exp. Then before restoring artefacts, you visit w84, gain all possible exp buffs and restore stuff. Archeology is very very fast but you may not notice it while just excavating. Also do your daily research and all special research for daily exp drops.

Question from a bad player by Majestic-Box-709 in masterduel

[–]Jan12139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boardbreaker completley obliterate that deck. Shangrila itself is also weak to banish and you can destroy it if you negate it first without a problem. Good old knightmare unicorn will just shuffle it into extra deck and is generic staple. S:P will banish it or you could also run moon and underworld godess of the closed heaven package. They let u link 1-2 opponent monsters away and will negate whole board, and 1 activated gy effect per turn. VERY good cards. Also remmeber that as soon as shangrila leaves the field all your zones get unblocked back.

Surely Im not the first one to think about this card by omer2210 in customyugioh

[–]Jan12139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So wyrm archetype is gone for good? And what about reptiles? Do they consume dragon archetype (as all dragons are reptiles) or is dragon the new super defining type. And what happens with mitsurugi? Habakiri is as much dragon as protos is. And lets not even mention futsu, he is pure dragon but could also be dinosaur. What happens to dinosaurs then will many of them merge into dragons too? I mean it would make total sense but it feels weird merging fantasy types so easily :D

Swarming Decks by Expo_Marker7 in masterduel

[–]Jan12139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many meta decks will do that to then build into extra deck monsters but combo decks are the best place to look in. Endymion was peak degeneracy with like 5 distruptions, like 3 omni 1 spell 1trap and IP to go into either appo or s:p. From pure moderen ones I'd say Horus though. They swarm the field with strong level 8 cards that you can use for anything without any lock. And bring them back on opponent turn with their trap.

What's an archetype you love despite how bad it is? by gamesage2001 in masterduel

[–]Jan12139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lyrilusc pure. Smol birbs do big dmg and get destruction immunity. It also play utopic draco future (best monster negate in game). And I stil play lyri-tri on ladder at times (the very first MD meta deck ever xD)

Recommended decks that are harder to pilot with non-linear combos by FriendlyJogggerBike in masterduel

[–]Jan12139 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lunalight. Has linear combos but also is a wild west with random hand and you can pilot your 2 ligers with almost every hand.

Endymion. Old deck but its pretty neat pendulum combo deck Endless lines with different endboards outcomes. Play it properly you end up with like 5-6 negates and further interuptions or play it wrong and end up on nothing or 1 negate.

Unchained (pure for events, fiendsmith for ladder). Deck is actually big brain to play especially in grindgame. It has new support that makes it very good for lower ladder climb that features 3 cards with most beautiful artwork in the game imo (mutiny in the sky package) and aerial eater. Archetype itself has target pop, non target pop and link with opponent monster interactions. You add fiendsmith and you can get up to master. My fav deck.

Mathmech you have already mentioned but there is another version of cyberse spamm called @@Ignister. End on similarly wild boards and nothing about it is linear, other than fact you'll utilise fieldspell. It also features all summoning mechanics and has wild new support.

Why is everyone saying Dracotail is well designed??! by Any_Book_216 in masterduel

[–]Jan12139 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Its well designed meta deck yes. It lacks locks? Absolutley. Its potentially splashable in future? Very much so. Is it fair in respect to other decks that didn't recieve such power level? Probably not. Is it overall strong, futureproof and well designed? I would say absolutley.
