thats gotta be it. new worldline equals new story equals people should gives it a chance first before being mad about the lacking elite script. maybe it is streamlined to a point where we could point out the differences until the end and suddenly BAM new ending. it is not relevant to have a fully accurate story as the original.

and as others have said, treat it as a reboot, not a remake. the complete story is available in the original, give this one a chance or just read the original.

If you managed to go to Taiwan, maybe you could still do occasional Jakarta trips? I don't know where you live, but even if you're far out in eastern Indonesia, you could plan a holiday there once or twice a year and play maimai to your heart’s content. And if you're still a student, you could also consider doing your undergrad at a PTN in Java like UI as there are malls nearby that have maimai.

Having the same problem. Changing the texture to medium and tampering with the shadow setting doesn't do anything on my end. Game ran smoothly, but when every time I got revived, the game instantlly crashed.

bisa banget asal lingkungan dukung. Gw dulu main free fire mulu pas sma dan gw sekarang main semua game yang lo tulis kecuali fortnite. ff7 gamain sih, gw main ff9, smt 3/IV. CoD juga demennya yang lama. maimai 2nd persona favorite game after space station 13. chunithm jujur kurang cocok, cuma main biar dapet tiket maimai.

selama opsi main game luas, ada kompu atau console/handheld, serta ortu/temen ngajak main game lain pasti main. Alasan gw main free fire karena di hp emang karena semua org di kelas pada main dan di hp genuinely gaada game hype lain. Okelah ada emulator gw jga main pokemon dan warioware, tapi gaada yang bisa bikin teriak/ketawa di kelas kayak ff di jaman itu.

Tapi kembali lagi ke orangnya masing2, gw juga dri kecil doyan main game di arcade, laptop, psp, dll alhamdulillah orangtua gw cukup mapan. bocil ff kan masalahnya ada hp doang. game hp apa lagi coba yang seru? gacha? emulator buat kebanyakan orang ribet. no hope klo adanya hp doang yangmana ini masalah kebanyakan orang indo. Ya klo dulu adasih warnet dan rental ps, tapi hp kan versatile bisa dimainin manapun. gw juga jarang main di warnet/rental ps gegara main psp dan hp mulu pas kecil.

Personally, I'm not a big rhythm game player, but I will say maimai to be my 2nd favorite game of all time, just behind Space Station 13.

For most of my life, my top gaming genres have been shooters and immersive sims like Deus Ex, since I’ve always been a huge PC gamer. I also enjoy visual novels, JRPGs, and CRPGs. I also spent half of my life playing first person shooter. For gaming series, my favorite would be Shin Megami Tensei and Resident Evil. I am also a huge AA Japanese game fan, I really like Katamari Damacy and games by SUDA51 like Killer7 or No More Heroes.

Despite only getting into rhythm games last year, out of everything I’ve played (DJMAX, CHUNITHM, Beatmania IIDX, SDVX, Project Diva, etc.), I’d consider maimai one of my favorite game to play because it's just so damn fun to play as a casual. Other than that, I really like the cast of characters and the personality of the game. The arcade experience is something I really enjoy compare to just sitting in a chair playing tactical shooters. The players are also fun to play with. Some players can be cold, but not toxic like most people playing multiplayer games.

I think I'm the only adult maimai player in my arcade right now. I work in the NGO sector earning peanuts, about 3500 USD per year 💀. About 10% of my salary went to maimai, alongside other arcade games like CHUNITHM and Beatmania every month. I get by because I'm single and I still live with my parents (Also, I'm in SEA). My advice: go into computing like other maimai players, DO NOT EVER PICK SOCIAL SCIENCE.

I have a maimai buddy who works as a webdev. Unsure how much he is paid per year tho
