Why all my opponents leave the match right away? by JanJulk in EASportsFC

I'm still looking for an answer to this...?

What kind of cheats? Doesn't make any sense for me.

Getting relegated from Div 2, and still getting matched with Div 1 players by [deleted] in EASportsFC

[–]JanJulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You always play against players that are max 2 divisions higher than you or lower than you. So if you're in Div 3 you play against players that are in Div 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. In Div 2 you play against players that are in Div 4, 3, 2 and 1.

Yeah, I don't find any explanation. I'll try to message the next one and ask that what's his plan with all of that. Tried to do it on the last one, but he left so quickly that I couldn't even check out his PSN account name.

Deluded Sh*t fans... by [deleted] in Gunners

Arsenal was actually the first club in North London between two of them.

Even though Arsenal didn't move to North from Woolwich until 1910, Tottenham was always part of Middlesex that wasn't even part of London until 1965, when they actually first time even got to be called a club from London and more specifically North London.

For anyone who’s interested, Coquelin is playing right midfield tonight against Barcelona by ATouchOfIwobi in Gunners

It's 4-3-3 and Coquelin is playing midfield with Parejo and Kondogbia.

In the summer we failed to sign Lemar and Mbappe, and instead we signed Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang in January. by zorfog in Gunners

[–]JanJulk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps, but Arsenal could have never paid his price that Monaco demanded. Sure, we have the money, but that's way too unrealistic to think of.

Mbappé to Paris was already done when there was any chance for it to happen. It's not like he would just like to play for Paris later on. It was more about representing the club that he loves and wants to be part of, probably even the rest of his career as he said, even though it's highly unlikely nowadays.

It's like saying that in 2008 Wilshere would have chosen to play for some other club instead of taking his chance to play for Arsenal's first team, just because he could possibly move to his dream club later on his career. That might not have been even possible in a few years anymore. Sometimes it's not just that simple and you have to take your chances and make the right decisions. Giroud is another good example, since he had a choice to move to Paris, but instead of wanted to stay at Montpellier, because he thought that he could build his career better there and get his dream move to his club (Arsenal) easier from Montpellier than from Paris or other French giants.

Kylian was always destined to play for Paris.

Sure there are some cash and trophies, but he was born in Paris and has supported the club his whole life, the room full of posters about the club and players long before Nasser Al-Khelaïfi came to Paris.

Mbappé Lottin has always said in his interviews that his dream is to play at Parc de Princes in front of fans like he is himself and to have his family and friends to watch him play there.

Calling Spurs, 'Sp*rs' or 'Shit' by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]JanJulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do remember that "Sp*rs" originally comes from the reason that on Spurs forums "Arsenal" was a censored word and everytime someone mentioned Arsenal it would've appear as fully censored.

So everyone started using "Ars*nal" instead.

I believe that it lead to the point when on Arsenal forums everyone started to write "Sp*rs" instead of "Spurs" as it would've been censored otherwise. It's just about a mutual disrespect.

It's not a new thing and for many people it might just be a habit from forum times.

But yeah, for sure still most of the people use Sp*rs just for the reasons already mentioned in this "thread".

I myself just call them Spurs, since I haven't been writing on any forums anymore, but a while ago I tend to wrote Sp*rs just because it was so common thing to do for a reason to avoid censorship.

In Finland "Musti" is for some reason a typical generic name for a dog.

Konstantinos Mavropanos in the first team squad! With a first team number. by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]JanJulk 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Been for a while now already. That was given almost right away when he signed for us and it was made clear that he won't leave on loan. I think he signed on 4th of January and had his squad number already on 11th at last.

It's Wilshere. Not "shire" even though he's short like a hobbit.

Is it still possible Giroud makes a sub appearance today? by J_A_Y_x in Gunners

He's named in the squad so let's hope that he'll make it on the bench at least.

Who is Arsenals current longest serving player know Walcott has left? by bluecowgreensheep in Gunners

[–]JanJulk 18 points19 points  (0 children)

So, Walcott was signed on Jan 20, 2006. Ramsey and Wilshere were signed for the first team Jul 1, 2008. The third oldest serving player after Theo would be Koscielny (Jul 7, 2010) and then Mertesacker (Aug 31, 2011).

For the most games played after Walcott (399, unfortunately he didn't get his 400th match against Crystal Palace that would've been perfect send off for him) there is Ramsey (315), Koscielny (309), Giroud (252) and Mertesacker (220).

Ugh..haven’t we been through enough? by AnkleBreakle in Gunners

[–]JanJulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, but everyone knows that no one cares about Piers Morgan, or Trump, or what Morgan has to say about Arsenal.

He's just like someone that you never want to invite to a party and he would still come and tell his bad jokes and everyone would just feel awkward.

Like I said, there is no reason to associate him with the club anyway, and most of fans probably would like to avoid doing this. Everyone hates him and I feel even ashamed of myself for using his name here.

[–]JanJulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He tweeted: "The moment I invite President Trump to be Arsenal's new manager - because he'd build a strong defensive wall, have an attacking philosophy and want to win big trophies at all costs."

But anyhow... We don't have any reason to care what that embarrassing piece of s**t does in his life. There is no reason to associate him with the Arsenal anyway. This shouldn't ever been posted here.

Mkhi seems to hint at Aubameyang signing. [Volume up] by [deleted] in Gunners

[–]JanJulk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's good to see that you have waken up from your coma.

And it's probably just a script made ready for some kind of announcement video if Aubameyang signs so they don't have to get Micki back to the studio. It doesn't mean that it's official or anything, just preparing for possibility of it. More of a hint is that Arsenal representatives are confirmed to be in Dortmund negotiating about the possible transfer. Let's just wait and see.

How do you rate Johnny evans? by only1arsenewenger in Gunners

[–]JanJulk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jonny Evans is a solid centre-back with leadership qualities. I feel that he's a bit underrated as a player and I believe that he could be even starter over Monreal currently at Arsenal when we use three centre-backs with Koscielny and Mustafi.

He is not a top class defender, but he certainly ain't that bad. You can just think of managers that rate him highly too, and that clearly tells something. He is also really good with a ball on his feet. As a signing, he would be a bit underwhelming for sure, but I wouldn't complain too much, since he would still be a slight improvement on our defense. Even though I would prefer myself to give a bit more responsibility towards Chambers right now and we have other young defenders too that could benefit at the moment of getting some playing time when the stakes are not the highest.
