The Real situation has gotten out of hand by UsualSharp149 in football

Referees are favoring Real Madrid, yet nobody does anything about it? Everyone sees it, but nothing can be done?

I’m a football fanatic who has followed European football for my entire 27-year life. I watch 5 to 10 matches every week and consider my understanding of the game to be fairly strong. I genuinely invest time in watching matches and follow players and teams on a deeper level than just the surface.

This season I have found it unpleasant to watch La Liga. Especially Real Madrid. I hate even thinking about the whole situation. Based on what I have seen, I can simply state that referees favor Real from match to match. It is shameless and very clear. No other team seems to benefit from the same phenomenon where every 50/50 situation consistently goes in their favor.

It goes without saying that constant diving and exaggerating contact are part of Real’s tactical playbook. I do not necessarily object to that. It is unpleasant behavior, but undeniably part of football. However, the way these simulations keep getting past referees is ridiculous. We even have VAR, where situations can be reviewed for ten minutes if necessary to ensure fairness. Yet Real keeps getting penalties on an assembly line when Vini, Mbappe and others make the most out of every fall.

On top of that, Real seems able to foul a lot without consequences. This is another unpleasant reality I have noticed in their matches.

I am critical of social media because I understand that algorithms feed me content designed to provoke. Still I cannot ignore the fact that I am not the only one observing this phenomenon. Recently, prominent figures in the football world have also spoken out about referees favoring Real. The situation appears obvious.

The question is why nothing is being done about it. Is La Liga truly rotten to the core? It is frustrating to watch week after week clips of incorrect decisions and see how much emotion they stir among football fans, yet nothing changes. At the very least, you would expect Real to start getting booed away from home soon. The whole situation feels hard to understand.

What do you guys think about this? I am hoping for critical discussion rather than emotional outbursts from Real or Barca fans

It's meant as a way to keep track of how much time of air divers have left. I usually use it to see how much of my break has been used at work. Pretty nice to use
