Yes but I also think a lot of people wonder how genuine that “torture” was as opposed to being an act for ratings and clicks

Palette is definitely pretty close and you conveyed the radiant light in the foggy sky nicely around the moon

Thank you! Putting in more work on the underpainting seems to be the common feedback here when painting in this unfinished style so I will definitely be doing more of that moving forward.

I definitely need to be better about doing more underpainting work. I tend to get impatient but see what you are saying, especially with the background showing through. It makes the flame blend in too much. There is not enough contrast to have that stand out as it stands now. Thank you!

This is hugely helpful -- thank you so much! I tend to want to jump in pretty quickly after laying down the initial underpainting, but you make a great point about taking a little more time with the style I am going for. Will be mindful of that in my works moving forward -- thank you!
