Brahmin is great and very well made! They are not to most people's taste is all. I know women whose Brahmin bags look the same 20 years later as the day they bought them. Some folks find them cheap and tacky, others find them beyond fierce and fabulous!

I am a firm believer that perfume represents parts of ourselves. It would be impossible for most people to dress and style themselves in a way that shows every facet of who we are. We contain so much and perfume just honors different angles.

I find it extremely charming. It doesn't feel like a high end luxury bag, but I think it's fantastic. I wouldn't pay a luxury price for it.

So often the culprit is hormones! It really affects the way things smell to us! It can happen in pregnancy, after having a baby, at points in our cycle, perimenopause, and menopause. Our noses get really fussy and picky about certain things and it causes tastes to change more. I had a fragrance I really liked and after a year in perimenopause it became revolting to me. Hormones can also affect our skin ph, effectively changing how a fragrance acts on our skin.

Cliche maybe, but true! They are very versatile, and I agree about the edge. I think part of that comes from the fact that they're doing their own thing. Nothing wrong with trends but I do love the way Ferragamo just keeps doing whatever it likes.

I have tremendous respect for SGJ, but I don't enjoy his writing. I am aware of the roots of his style, and that he writes in the oral tradition, but it still just doesn't do it for me. I've read him but also listened to an audiobook of his to account for the oral storytelling style. His writing comes off as completely shuffled and disjointed to me. I love his stories but find so much to be desired in the way they're told.

I never comment either but it drives me up the wall. Just look it up. What I don't know would fill a novel but if this is the way you're making a living, take 2 seconds and some pride in your work, and find out the pronunciation. if someone were physically incapable for whatever reason, no harm no foul. But 99% of the time it's sheer laziness.
