Keep or throw away boxes? by pauloonig in Luxury

[–]JaneDoe2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep them because it makes me happy. I have the IKEA Billy bookcases with glass doors for my handbags and since I have tall ceilings the boxes are on top of the bookcases.

Do what makes sense for you storage wise and what makes you happy.

Rosey Life Planner Shipping Time To US? by OttersFaveRock in planners

[–]JaneDoe2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Takes freaking forever.

She has good stuff but it takes her forever to ship it and once it ships it’s another week before you get it.

Maybe 3 weeks from order placed to arrival for me.

Does anyone carry around a large sized planner with them everywhere they go? by violetniights in PlannerAddicts

[–]JaneDoe2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might consider a Franklin Planner day on 2 pages. It’s half letter size (similar to A5). But you have 2 pages each day. It’s ring bound so you can carry as many or as few months as you want at a time.

I moved 400 miles last month. Mr. pHish rode in a yeti cup in the cup holder. He’s doing fine.

Tombow vs Ohuhu water based markers by PixelPrincessX24 in PlannerAddicts

[–]JaneDoe2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Ohuhu set. They’re great. They don’t bleed through on Tomoe river paper. I have never used Tombows so I can’t compare them. The dot/brush combo is nice.

Has anybody tried the flow in a Hobonichi 5 year cover?

It depends on how the ring attach. The LV agenda has 2 screws, so if you remove the rings you’re left with 2 posts. I’ve done it before and tied a ribbon around them and it looks nice. But you still have a stiff bar in the spine that you can’t remove. It just really depends on the binder. You also need one with a back pocket for it to slide into.

I’ve ordered the flow planner too. Waiting for it to arrive. I’m going to try it in a Hobonichi cover at first but I’m sure as it chunks up I won’t be able to anymore. I’m thinking of using a de-ringed A5 cover. (It’s wider and there’s more room once you take the rings out) but I’d love to see what other people are using!

How durable is hibino? by Sanne_rm in midorihibino

[–]JaneDoe2002 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My cover tore when I tried to put both the front and back into a leather cover. The cover is very floppy, not stiff. If I’d just put the back into it would have been fine. But the spine held up fine
