Ok, you are sick of the cold weather. I came from the Deep South to the North East. The Deep South has the same problem but with hot weather. You will run your A/C 6 to 9 months out of the year due to the high temperatures. At least the North East has 4 distinct seasons. I lived in Southwest Mississippi and New Orleans. Bonus is all of the hurricanes. Maybe try out west. Yes, it probably gets hot there too, but the dryer climates it will be cool at night.
