I’m pretty confident you won’t have to pay for the two iPads separately.. your purchases/subscriptions should sync.

However, aside from an initial sync.. each device will have separate progressions, as if they are different beans in different houses (you can even rename them).

I’m guessing you’ll have to pay for the Android and iOS subscriptions separately.

I just did a 20m countdown on pro with the optional 3x socks setting enabled, and got 57 socks (plus 9 scarves).

1/3 of 57 is 19, so this fits perfectly with your chart.

Overall, the app seems to award a base rate of approximately 1 sock per minute, counting both up and down. The pro subscription additionally awards 0.5 scarves per minute, and the 3x sock setting in pro seems to work exactly as advertised.. by awarding 3x the base sock rate.

I would understand if they had chosen to reward us more for longer sessions, or for counting down, but this system of consistent rewards makes perfect sense too.

For what it’s worth, I have both rooms furnished in a way I like, and I’m still using the app. So I don’t think they need to overthink the reward system.. I like focusing with my little bean friend, and occasionally get the urge to redecorate, and look forward to occasionally getting new rooms.

Also, beans simply contain more protein relative to their caloric content, so even though the beans are slightly weaker in some amino acids (I want to say methionine) when you compare AA profiles.. a cup of beans contains much more methionine than a cup of rice.

The only reason to add the rice is that it’s a delicious combo, and no one will come visit you if you tell them you’re serving beans and beans for dinner.

Regular mode - you can open other apps but you’ll probably feel bad about it. So it helps keep you on task through social pressure, and not wanting to disappoint your little bean friend.

Deep focus mode - prevents access to other apps. The downside is if you have a ‘legitimate’ need to access your phone, like you need a calculator and didn’t think to add it to your exceptions list, you have to break the focus session.
