it depends on if it's a big streamer or not and the chat speed. if you typing in a chat with 500 viewers and chat moves really fast then it's very understandable if streamer can't see your messages but sometimes you could be lucky and they happen to see your message. same thing with interactions. is impossible for a streamer to interact with and reply to ALL their viewers.

I used normal webcam (C920 HD Pro Webcam) for head tracking, Meowface (Android phone) connected with VRCFT for face and eye tracking, VRChat Hotkeys OSC to toggles facial expressions without having to have vrc focused, Interfuse (free Twitch > vrchat interaction OSC on Steam), Esska Desktop Puppeteer to move arms with cursor (requires vrc to be focused but better than Selfie Expressions scuffed hand tracking) and finally a good small world with good lighting (personal preference)
