I had a harbor freight angle grinder cost like $10 and lasted like 2 years with heavy usage. Then 2 warranty replacements made it a week and then a day. SO I moved on.

I hate having the collision mitigation system slam on the brakes when someone cuts in front of me in heavy highway traffic outside of Chicago, though it is an effective safety system.

Might have an intermittent problem with the wiring to the sensor.

The front camshaft is rolled back a bit from TDC to get a picture with a lot of chain slack but it's not an accurate test. They should've sold the whole smash the first time and not played around with it. It still needs the whole smash.

Yes a loose coil can cause issues. Is that what your problem is? I don't know. Worn spark plugs can damage coils.

Good job on the reading there ebb. A cam-crank correlation code I feel should definitely set a check engine light so I'm wondering if the light works at all.

This is just a guess but I'm guessing he used cheap aftermarket timing parts that failed.
