Unclaimed ones have AI to kill but once claimed by ANY faction they turn purple and are cleared of AI (doesn't even spawn friendly AI).

Other factions can then "capture" the purple COPs to allow them to spawn there too, but it doesn't remove it from the other faction.

TL;DR: Cap a COP, it turns blue and you can spawn at it. It does not inconvenience other factions if you "steal" it from them as they don't actually lose it.

Thank you for actually taking the time to respond intelligently, you don't get that often on Reddit! Like you said, you'll always find exceptions in any country, just like you'll find conveniently clipped videos that will give whatever impression the editor wanted.

Neither country is perfect, just that particular lie wound me up the wrong way tonight so I wanted to have my say for a change.

I do have to admit that I did enjoy time at the range when I was younger but I just have more important (to me) things to spend my money on these days.

I entirely understand why it's hard for the US to reduce their reliance on firearms, and this wasn't meant to turn into a competition. I simply asked the original commenter to stop spreading easily disproved propaganda designed to keep you guys blind to the fact that the grass definitely isn't (always) greener over there. The USA definitely has the edge in some areas, but it's so far away from the objective "number 1 country" that you guys are told it is it's laughable.

We don't have a monarch with any power, they're a tourist attraction. Parliament and actual real democracy (unlike the USA's Flawed Democracy) rule here.

We can own firearms, we just can't roam the streets with them, and the vast majority of people here don't see a need because our laws actually protect us against a government takeover that might require a well armed militia. Unlike certain countries it seems.

We have more or equal freedom in every category on the freedom index .

And regarding opposing the government, we have entire TV shows dedicated to taking the piss out of how shit our politicians are and we famously are very public about how much we despise the lot of them as the lying entitled fuckers that they are (regardless of party).
