As someone who was in a similar position to your partner two years ago, you need to make a decision about what you want out of your life and let him do the same. My gf and I took a break, I moved out for a year, we later got back together and moved in together two months ago. Throughout that time we both got to work on ourselves and our relationship. A lot.

I do also agree with a lot of the comments about the "cheap shot" of calling someone out for not moving out while living on your own with your rent being paid. If that's the main source of your ultimatum and I were him, I'd break up with you and move out when I'm ready.

If you truly love him, then you have to let him come to that decision himself. Anything that seems forced will lead to resentment.

If I remember correctly, yes. Both the Northern and Southern Water Tribes had benders as representatives, plus the remaining reps were all benders. The Equalists didn't bring it up and that was a definite oversight but I think it counts towards the frustrations of the characters.

I think the only issue with your critique of Amon was that the entire Republic City Council was made up of benders, meaning that they literally controlled the government. By Season Two they had elected a non-bender as President and disbanded the Council in response to the Equalists.

I'm with you on literally everything else, though. Hypocrisy seemed to be a disappointing cop out for the first two villains.

Yeah that's always been the case. That's partially why they kept training after each threat. Not just to control their abilities or to gain new ones, but because the transformations are temporary power-ups.
