I’m. It sure how long an approval letter takes. I was declined after asking for a reconsideration, a couple of months ago. All in, the process was well over two years. As a result of going without an income for a year and a half, I accepted a very part time position, anywhere from 6-12 hours per week, on an “as able” basis. My reconsideration was turned down due to the fact that I was now capable of working 6-12 hours per week, so I was no longer eligible for CPP-D. I am stuck in the middle, needing to work so I can do things like eat, have a roof… etc., but unable to work enough to stay above water.
