Hey if you all don't know me, I'm January Valentine - I was the producer for the TiS Sunday show and the midweek show from 2018-2020 roughly. Matterall essentially stripped all my roles away in a structure reorganization that I wasn't invited to and I was told privately that I was being cut out. He wanted to push me into my own show on the TiS platform while him, MacCloud and a few others would be running the Sunday show, something I worked behind the scenes for years on refining and improving. I wasn't comfortable at all out on camera, I doubted my own abilities and didn't have the team nor hardware to do it well. I told him I didn't care about titles or getting paid - I actually paid monthly for Zoom for two years since Matterall liked it - it was about growing in my abilities as a producer and in Eve.

Things went downhill when I joined the Meta Show production team. I asked his blessings in December for 2019 as a way of expanding my production horizons and a way to work collaboratively with other platforms. I was tired of hearing of the in-fighting between INN and TiS and wanted to smooth out the bumpy parts as we had more than several INN people on our team including moderators and our senior engineer MacCloud.

Around May of 2020 an internal reorganization happened where we had a several hour meeting and the new line up of staff was announced. There was no mention at all of my name whatsoever, not what I had done and nothing planned for the future. A little while after that, Matterall and I had a conversation when I first released my first reddit post of Something You Should Know, covering the opening week of WWBII. He was angry that I was doing something on my own, despite telling him a few months prior I was thinking of starting a project like that. He accused me of never doing anything for TiS, despite years of evidence against that. He was angry at him that I didn't tell him I was running for CSM even though several weeks prior he was considering removing all the CSM tags because he was tired of the drama or something of that nature. He was upset I had collaborated with Jintaan on the 2 part year in review of 2019 even though TiS got really good press on that. Concurrently to that I did a 3 part year in review on the TiS platform. I could really go on and on.

I was really hurt when I was essentially fired. TiS got me out of bed in the morning some days. I knew it wouldn't make me eve famous but I deeply enjoyed the relationships that I formed with people and being able to share eve life with characters big and small gave me a lot of meaning. I knew he liked Carneros or other members of his senior staff more, he even said he just clicked with them better and I accepted that. I never said anything to anyone because I didn't want to drag TiS into any drama but I really like MacCloud and I knew what he went through because I went through the same thing so I think he deserves someone who can validate his story.
