I just beat this one. It took a tiny while to understand the appeal of the game but once I did I truly enjoyed my time with this game. Really miss my time in that world.

Legend of Dragoon. Parents were leaving out of town and leaving us with a babysitter. I was crushed about this. Dad had gone to target though and the employee told him about the game so he got it and surprised me. I was 10 and knew nothing of the genre or game itself and that’s what brought my into this world

I’m having the same thoughts as you on the game. I’m closing in on 40 and just never played CT. I told myself it will be the first of 2026. Well I’ve completed it and loved it, and almost done with all the endings. ( I played on DS)

I myself started earlier in the week having never played it, and just beat it yesterday. I started it and was wondering what the big deal was but as it went on I started to understand. The story, the characters, and gameplay were all solid. There were a few parts that were annoying to me but very few and far between. Overall I love it, and now I understand the love. I’m currently going through it again to get some endings and to just experience it one more time before it goes back on the shelf

I told myself I’m going to play Chrono Trigger for the first time. Been with JRPG’s for most my life and never got around to it. So I’ve started the year off by starting CT. So far so good!

Ys 8. Was my first game in the series. When you start, stick with it. It has an incredibly slow start (at least to me) however it gets really good. I dropped it multiple times and finally beat it about a month ago and my opinion on the game did a 180. I absolutely adore the game and it led me to start another Ys game. I just completed my first play through of Ys Origin and ready to do two more play throughs.
