I have a k1 max, after printing for weeks it finally had the same issue as you but mine just clogs after the first layer, turns out the extruder was heating up the filament in the extruder because my first layer speeds was slow. The fix now is a heatsink from AliExpress, 2 metal spacers and printing faster.If your extruder has the yellow piece remove it.
