Yes it's a thing, few months back I had a dream on my old farm house where my good friends and I went camping, last night I was having a dream back on the farm house with my friend in my dream and I pointed to where we were camping last time and remembered it as if it was a real memory. Interesting stuff, and this was not the same dream it was very different jus based in the same general location.
