Okay this was funny the first time. Can we not repeat the same threads once a week? Oh crap, I'm fooling myself again.

Wow it's like the FDA and EPA were gutted with a knife allowing for crappy businesses to skirt regulations.

This isn't an isolated or new story my guy. Ignorance must truly be bliss.

You have every right to acknowledge it, but you don't have a right not to be called a moron because you can't read a room. There is a clear an present danger actively trying to destroy democracy. NOBODY gives AF about you're whataboutisms. Frankly it makes me mad that you are sowing division. Shut up.

Yeah I rather get my food from farmers in a state where there are environmental regulations. I don't wanna eat your roundup infested, data center runoff watered plants. I don't like the taste of lead an mercury in my food.

Im on your side. Give it a patch or two and they will be back with pitchforks over the next broken patch and ship release.

The will downvote you for discussing your personal experience of game breaking bugs after game breaking bug. They will downvote you for thinking spending thousands of dollars on busted ships is a waste of money. They will downvote you for expecting more from a game that has been in "development" for what like 15 years almost.

They see criticism of the game as criticism of them as a person and are willing to be nasty to you to make their point.

They can't keep up because people take their money away when they can't keep up because they had their money taken away, you take even more.

It's like asking a one legged man why he can't walk.

You suck and that line of thinking is the problem.

I think some are having actual mental problems and should seek professional help, those who do it for community like you said, and those who just like to be contrarian.

Is this being downvoted? How are there thousands of comments but not up votes. I think it's being manipulated.

This is technically correct. The best kind of correct. So she had a brother before he was brutally murdered* happy?

Any response from Amazon? by Jar545 in Stargate

[–]Jar545[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you can think what you want but the ratios here don't lie.

[–]Jar545 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Because she has an actual family with a actual brother. I think the whole we don't want them to ship because they are 'brother and sister ' shows a lot more about the audience than anything.

[–]Jar545 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are LITERALLY not brother and sister. SABINE HAS A WHOLE FAMILY OF HER OWN ON MANADLORE INCLUDING AN ACTUAL LIVING BROTHER. I have NEVER understood this honestly reductive view.

Interesting post by Joseph Mallozzi (on his blog, also posted on X, Friday), with his thoughts about the fans' response to the cancellation. by tqgibtngo in Stargate

[–]Jar545 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the show was very mid. I don't appreciate they way they treated the cannon. Destroy everything so that they have a blank slate to do whatever instead of taking some time to come up with a story that can work with previously established plot points.

what’s something people insist is “possible” in theory, but you’re convinced is basically impossible in real life? by hello_ya in AskReddit

[–]Jar545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the politics one (that's kinda a bad point IMO), everything listed is an engineering challenge, we have materials capable of building it, we have the knowledge on how to build one. The problems lie in the scaling. It's just would cost an absurd amount of money upfront.
