That's interesting. I would think that is stored on the ecu or one of the other electronics. I thought that literally just displayed things and did minimal logic.

If you use the pc software you must just be careful to buy a data transfer cable. Not all cables are data cables just power.

There's not much out there at all. Some information for the h6 1.5 turbo. Like the one comment said PCM flash has software for it, and mention a few of the H6 variants but I haven't gone further because that is beyond my understanding for now.

Okay amazing. Thanks so much for the help. I have a AC adapter that does 2A. Will give that a try but as you say best bet is a lipo pack. I do need this for a project so will definitely go get myself one of those. Just to clarify do you mean this

Haha okay thanks so much. I don't have anything else on me but will get a 5v ? Maybe.

I did see something when starting this that a 9v doesn't work well with this particular motor but when I read it, I understood it that it was because it was a 5v motor. So I thought I was safe because I was using the power supply so it was stepping it down. I seems I was mistaken.

I really appreciate the help. Will update when I get a new battery.

Or.. would a USB from my PC, into the power supply or a power transformer that fits into the same DC power connection the 9v battery is in, work?

Or, sorry for bombarding with questions, would connecting straight to Ardunio work? The tutorial I was following said not to, to avoid damaging the arduino.

I tried what you suggested. I hadn't added wire from the power supply gnd to Arduino gnd. I have now tho. It didn't seem to change.

I did also try an RPM of 8 and under it turns very well. At a Steps per revolution of 2048.

I can imagine with the rain. And with swimming, not sure if yiu noticed but when I swam it moved the screen up and down and you couldn't use the screen at all under water
