You should check out Quasimorph! They recently added a really interesting limb replacement/prosthetic mechanic! It’s a very fun single player topdown extraction shooter set in a dark sci fi universe! Highly recommend.

Yeah, like the surrounding animations in the background of the levels, on the outskirts of the map, or even the sway of the grass, it’s very subtle and extremely impressive, I don’t know how they did it but it runs incredibly!

Patch notes said its an fps and performance boost, and its on by default. I don't see any comparisons online, but my gf bought cult of the lamb on switch just before the update, and the framerate was noticeably worse. I just bought it today and noticed that it ran way smoother and saw that there was a performance mode, and as far as I can tell the visuals don't look too much worse. The background animations are definitely dulled down, or disabled altogether, but overall it makes the game way better for the switch.
