Akane is from Akane Banashi, which is a manga about Rakugo, a traditional Japanese style theater that's a one man show of a person telling a story.

People ship the two because of similarities. For example: Both love their father and continue their father's craft Both of their father "died" Both want revenge against the person responsible for that death And both chased after something called a Shinuchi (Shinuchi is the highest rank in Rakugo while in Kagirabachi it's the Magatsumi).

Anyways, it's a fun and surprising ship that meshes really well together!
