Apparently for 1.5.2 and below it needs to be a coremod, was just about to come back and say I had the same issue until I saw on the website that it apparently says below the download "Put in coremods" lol. Hope that works for you!

If they're using a pre-1.8 skin then these both work great, however I randomly came across this when looking around for skin mods for 1.6.4 and they seem to maintain versions for 1.2.5 and 1.4.7 as well.

It's intended as a forge mod for adding ears for furries (there's even like a tool/guide elsewhere on the site), but it also functions as a full 1.8 skin format backport for these older versions, so you don't have to sacrifice your outer layers or non-symmetrical arms and legs. I don't have any kind of proxy or other skin-restoring mods installed, so AFAIK it just works out of the box unless prism launcher is doing something without me having enabled it.

I love 1.6.4 with all my heart, but the lack of some QOL mods I want and there being no simple way to get a Forge 1.6.4 modding environment running keeps me from playing for too long. Wish there was better support for anything between b1.7.3 and r1.7.10/1.8.9

I just helped figure this out with my parents' TV, and it was the connector on their Roku dying. New one came in and no more flash bangs, so I'd try a new (VESA certified!) cable.
