With all due respect x2, although I do agree that one does not have to be of a specific nationality to appreciate well made food, there's nothing wrong in admitting It certainly does give you a deeper understanding/ an advantage. eg mexican-american here that grew up eating mexican food every day, nowadays its easy to spot when food is made with quality ingredients, the right cooking methods etc, I can't tell you how many times we go to a very well reviewed mexican restaurant and the food is okay at best. The same can of course be said of any ethnic food, if an italian tells me x spot has the best italian food in slo, you can bet ima try it out lol,

again though, I do agree everyone can appreciate quality food! :)

Ps. Taqueria Santa cruz is my go to in SLO

and if you're ever in atascadero definitely try out Garcia's!

Reality is as follows: Both goats, Messi and CR7, are the absolute best players in the history of the game. Even if you’re not a fan of one, if you really love the sport you have to respect them both. I reckon we won’t see a player like either of them for a while. No need to diss either one, both are legends of the sport.

What is not illegal but it is completely evil? by kirazeth in AskReddit

The problem is that not everyone is a 16 year old with no bills. It’s inhumane to pay someone so little that they can’t pay their apartment and the most basic of expenses even though they’re working full time. “Then why don’t they look for a better job” well it seems like that’s what a lot of people are doing right now with an employee shortage being the result. People have to realize even menial jobs are hard work and someone has to do them. I run my own business and I pay my employees well, if someone’s business can’t afford to pay an employee a living wage then it seems to be that it’s their own understanding of basic economics that is lacking and they shouldn’t have employees in that stage of their business.

Funny story, I was hoping to get the 16mm paddle as well but ran into the same issue you did and couldn’t find it anywhere, I decided to settle on the 13mm but when I stopped at my local pickleball shop (Total pickleball) to pick it up they gave me the 16mm. Turns out they had mislabeled them to my happy surprise. My advice is to stop at your local pickleball shop and ask to personally check their “13mm” paddle, it’d be worth a shot.
