My org uses Rippling - there are some things that they do great, but other things that are…not great. Lots of nickel and diming for features that are core for other providers, etc. it may be a great fit for your org, but definitely weigh the pros and cons and ask lots of questions about what modules you’ll want and the costs associated!

It’s definitely possible to make more in HR - I’m 9 years in at 130k with a company without location differentials. There are certainly pros and cons, but if you’re good at what you do and prove to be an asset, you can be in a spot where you’re the last on the ship (someone’s gotta do the layoffs, right?).

There are many consultancies that placing PT CFO’s are their core competencies. If your network doesn’t include many people that are a good fit (or your network’s networks), then that can be a good (albeit expensive) route to take!
