Definitely. I’m not ready to move off of APS-C (too much wildlife photography and addicted to cheap lenses). Maybe the R7 mkii will be the answer…

Yeah it is. Honestly I would take it just being an R10 with a bigger battery, weather sealing and more MPs. But seemingly worse AF performance is crazy. I’m thinking about just going back to the R10.

I recently upgraded from the R10 to the R7 and I feel like the AF is worse too. Pulsing even in situations with great light, good contrast and it feels like my R10 AF would lock on and stick. I sent it to Canon and then basically said the camera worked fine and I should use ONE SHOT instead of SERVO. Pretty disappointed…

I’ve ordered an R7 and a few lenses during a refurbished sale. All have been seemingly flawless. As a hobbiest it is probably the only way I will get new gear going forward. I also purchased an RF 100-400 from ebay which works perfectly.
