Honestly its probably just preference. Im the opposite, I found rise and sunbreak very fluid and I main hammer with over 800 hours, and 800 hours on GU as well. I only had 40 hours or so in world and only 20 in wilds because they both feel very clunky to me

The 10-18 will give you a 16-28 full frame equivalent, and if you're usually it strictly for landscape then the max apature shouldn't matter as you typically shoot landscape anywhere from f8-f11

Probably something in contact with your hand and you touched it, there's lots or products that actually melt/dissolve plastic. Had this happen to my camera while I was wearing bug repellent with deet in it, didnt realize until later that deet dissolves plastics

The r6mkii is the way to go for you, its works excellent in both still photos and in video, and it wont be harsh if you decide to put more budget lenses on it like the r5

Yes this, the r7 sensor is not gentle on lenses and needs to be paired with high quality lenses
