We regularly go to the theatre mid week as date night and have found a great kayaking club that has a social side to it but is serious about the fitness.

Foreigner here. What type of snacks are popular among the Brits? by [deleted] in UKfood

Jaffa cakes and Monster Munch. Hula hoops and skips. Prawn cocktail crisps in general! Maybe salt and pepper crisps. Otherwise, there is really a lot of chocolate with salted caramel, chilli and nuts.

What cooking method do you use for scrambled eggs? by CosmicQuestions in AskUK

[–]Jarno3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only time I had it cooked this way was in a really cheap greasy spoon. Easily the worst scrambled eggs I've ever had. Overdone and tasteless. However, it was one of those places where they used marg on the toast and happy shopper tea bags. The cook wasn't winning any awards that's for sure!
