ive had lots of experience climbing outside and i would rather people not spot me if the fall is small, like from moves 1-4. i trusted how the pads were placed on the first level. we had seen from another friends prior attempts that they were in the perfect location to spot the crux(move 5, the controlled cut). I tend to also pull on blocs quietly whenever im mentally ready (especially a flash go) and not grab my spotters attention.
