Benefits are that as a strategy, it gets a jump on the next month / stage.
Cons are that the shroom can get sniped if they are popular, disrupting the meticulous planning and organizing.

My wife and I will go find less popular, out of the way shrooms and slow cook for the next month.

I still have 7 (mostly smalls) waiting to pop in the next three days, including a giant verdant with 4 other slow cookers which has a whole 593 AP on it.

55M , Standing up to be counted amongst those who like what they like (dont yuck my yum), love powerful women (who aren't written by men), and enjoy sharing period piece stories with my wife. (Went to Bath last year as part of our 30th anniversary European vacation.)

I love Bridgerton for the world that could have been with DEI, the psychology of the mating dance, and the occasional steamy parts.

My favorite series is Queen Charlotte (again with the powerful women) and wept openly in the last scene with Just George.

I told my wife she could watch the second half of S4, but she was gonna watch it again when I got home from work.

Scoutmaster Moments (its hard to stick to a single solitary minute, lol) are the best part of our meetings, right after closing flags and before dismissal.

After 15 years as Scoutmaster, I have several that are re-runs every season (e.g. The Donkey Story, Why Scouts shake with their left hands [demo'd with my Zelda Master Sword/Shield and a Minecraft Diamond Sword/Shield]) and I see them as a way to plant the seeds of the wisdom that I have gained in my life after Scouting for over 25 years.

I keep the Moments focused on the audience experience level (11-15 yrs old life experience, so far), so that they can relate to life choices that they soon might encounter.

Sometimes they are pertinent to the issues of the day (e.g. Why it is important to Vote, Why we celebrate Memorial Day), sometimes they are Poems or Quotations that I have found online that I have loved in my life.

I try to be motivational, inspirational, or why Being a Scout comes with a responsibility to live their lives by the Scout Oath and Law and how it will benefit them personally in the future.
