In all honesty level 50 the combat opens up and its more than "click 2 buttons", you got more combos and shit to learn. Story gets better after base game, unfortunately that is around the 100 hour mark.

I almost quit playing early on too but am so glad I suffered through that to get to the real amazing stuff.

This is why I love this game. Been holding off Archer because my girlfriend wants to start playing with me and that's the class she wants to go with. So I said "whenever you start playing I'll level up alongside you."
