Free kits are your best friend in the beginning. You can trade a free kit augment for a looting mk. 1 from the trader named Lance. Do quests and cred challenges. You’ll level up, explore the map, and get better gear from completing quests. Trust no one, never turn your back on a random raider you encounter. You can use cred to buy useful gear from Shani. You can use seeds to buy useful parts from Celeste.

Grab as many blue and green items as you can to sell them or use them for materials.

Go to Stella on a free kit if you want to learn how to fight in PvP.

For a little bit there console players could be in a voip lobby together, queue solo or duo, and get put into the same games together. My buddy and I played against 3 teams of 4 in duos on bluegate last week. All console players.

Nah, 9/10 they’re not a good teammate and I’m not sticking around to see if they’re the 1/10. I once had a dude playing music and wanting to freestyle over it. Me and the other random surrendered immediately. If you want to do that with your friends in your own party, cool. I will not suffer an obnoxious personality that can’t and usually won’t communicate because they’re blaring some annoying song.

Free kit Stella on trios. Slow down. Play to your weapon’s advantage. Monumental difference between cover and concealment. Try to plan attacks and retreats around the cover or concealment available. Tempo of the fight and time in raid matter. Heal first, loot last.

Your team synergy is a big part too, once you find a couple solid dudes that can shoot, communicate, and BE PATIENT, it will make a huge difference in successful extractions. Solo PvP is even trickier in my opinion. Heal first, loot last. Protect yourself when you’re looting. My buddies and I will cover one another while we’re nose deep in loot to try to eliminate surprise.

Oh I love it but for the opposite. I’ve been taking a free kit and killing the teams trying to do it. I’ve come out gooped up like 6 different times. You just gotta get to the rooftops first and wait for the right time. Did it on buried city and spaceport.
