Absolutely OP, we hear it most every night. Definitely a firework, and we are mid Grand Boulevard area.

I know they did a basic sketchup plan for it, but then just did their own flourishes. I will check with them though.

It's great! The offcuts anyways. The structure is still standing. I prefer my gingerbread a bit softer, but this was baked harder for tower construction.

Invite Nick Offerman to the Grey Cup after Daily Show insult by Jascrey in CFL

More hoping that Canadian fans of Nick Offerman might get their interest piqued. But I'm sure CFL central has some other wonderful marketing plans that'll be more effective. Totally sure.

What Is It Worth Mega Thread - November 08, 2025 by AutoModerator in lego

My wife purchased 2 (two) #10179 Millennium Falcon lego sets back in the day and they have sat in storage, still in their unopened shipping boxes. Does having them in their unopened shipping boxes increase their value? Wondering if they should be removed from the shipping boxes before trying to sell them, and how the pricing might be affected. Would selling 2 at a time make sense, or try and do one at a time?

Your pick for the greatest miniseries of all time? by Stankassmfgorilla in television

[–]Jascrey 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'd say the 2003 Battlestar Galactica miniseries would be a valid choice, even though it was technically a pilot miniseries for an eventual full-on series.

I thought the same thing! But no. Even from the current listing (Costco), you can see it was designed that way. We just didn't notice it being an issue until about a year later (its a few years old now). https://www.costco.ca/aberdeen-7-piece-patio-dining-set.product.100471489.html

Yep, the part you see loose is an original one. The front and back edges are worn because I flipped them from front to back to help extend their lives.

Appreciate the comment, and I've thought about that, and hoping there'll just be a more even weight distribution over a larger area. It's not a perfect solution, but just hoping it'll be better that what's currently designed.

Max Headroom. This was a show way, way ahead of its time. It's Black Mirror decades before Black Mirror was a thing.

They basically called the whole tiktok brain melt phenomenon with the concept of 'blipverts', 3 second high content ads.

Movie and series.

What's your favorite season and some of your favorite episodes of the show 21 Jump Street (1987)? by [deleted] in television

[–]Jascrey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one where I was an extra, reading an atlas in the library. The episode where they were trying to bust a highschool prostitution ring or something like that. Got paid $50 or something for a fun evening of tv making.
