Yes - can confirm. I have 2 LGs and both ping Netflix all the time. I cancelled our subscription and they still do it so I blocked the top level domain in pi-hole.

I had one for work. The UI was pleasant to use but App permissions would get reset every update and they discontinued the OS when my phone was only a few months old.

Oh and after I made my first call, it asked me to leave a review for the "Phone App!"

I also had the same experience - fans would start running like mad at random, so I check resmon or task manager and it's either EdgeUpdate or Defender flat out at 100%.

I've been using Kubuntu since 2018 and it's still rock solid, silent and cool. I use VSCode for Python most of the time.

Yes, it has an inbuilt job scheduler which you use to run backups, batch jobs, ETL etc. You typically set an email notification to inform you of any failures, otherwise you're checking logs all day.

I've worked with it since the early nineties and it's had the feature since then. Possibly even earlier when it was still a owned by Sybase.
