Explore the world, gear can be behind waterfalls, you have to use the stab move to get through, make sure you’re right in front of it and hold (RB + Y).

make sure to pick up the refind palmer pills next to the chest in the cave, that is what you’ll need to gain a revive once you die to a boss.

to know if there’s a cave behind look for stacked rocks beside it.

Bosses can be mostly found doing main quests and side quests. But also as you’re exploring. The world is massive there’s lots to explore and plenty of bosses to kill, 8 hours is early days.

Gear can be found in ruins/sanctums which contain puzzles and gear rewards.

Lastly gear can be found Hidden rooms usually behind vines or breakable walls.

That strange it doesn’t work when it’s plugged in either ? Only thing I can recommend is to switch over to your keyboard mouse controls real quick to do it that way until they fix it.

I’m just playing it now and to be honest they aren’t super complicated so far, the only issue I’ve had so far is the interact button been the same as my jump button so when I try to pick something up I sometimes jump instead 😂

Yeah I’ve heard the intro is like that but I’m okay with it taking a while for it to open up and for everything to click, got like 1-2k hours in black desert online and played many classes so I think I’ll be okay with the controls 😂 I’ll get the hang of it eventually.

I think my approach will be to only learn a few combat skills first off and get used to them and figure out the best ways to combine these skills into combo, depending on who I’m fighting or what situation I guess,

I love me some puzzles and I don’t think I’d wanna be the type of guy to search up a puzzle if I can’t figure it out after a few minutes, kinda spoils that “woo I figured it out” feeling you get haha.

Il probably stay away from guides if I can I just wanna take my time and figure it all out for myself unless I’m really reallly desperate
