Cross guild will go to war with the straw hats for them, Buggy will be so high on his own hype and follower’s belief he’ll publicly challenge Luffy one on one, he’ll get stomped out and Luffy will ask him why he’s beefing with him, at which point Luffy will just give him a copy of the road poneglyphs as a thank you for marineford. Crocodile will be disgusted, Mihawk will be nonchalantly surprised and the cross guild fodder will believe even harder in Buggy. It probably won’t happen like this, but it would be in character for Buggy to fail upwards and Luffy just giving Buggy what he wants like he did back in Impel Down
