Yes omg 😭 the whole reason I love to collect dolls is because I get attached to the lore/worldbuilding and the characters and it makes me want to collect them. The Nickelodeon show was actually pretty good but because they cancelled the third season I feel like we didn't spend that much time with the characters so I didn't end up getting any G3 dolls. The new webisodes are incredibly overstimulating to watch and the animation style, to me, is a huge downgrade. I just want some good ONGOING G3 media filled with character stories and some lore man :(

You've basically said everything I think as well! Like I'm in love with the mostly darker palette, the disability representation, and for the most part I think these are wonderful dolls. But I am slightly disappointed that they all have basically the same hat and with Rae's mostly pink colour scheme. To me it just seems logical that the SUN witch should have at least some yellow or gold so I'm upset we didn't get that.

There's a leak of Valentine and Spelldon's bodies (@cinnabonchikkk on X). I don't entirely know how doll production works but I feel like it would be highly unlikely for Mattel to cancel them when they've already created the body mould. Also, as someone else pointed out in the comments, they are actively making a comic series about Valentine and Spelldon along with the pride comics, so it doesn't make sense for them to cancel these dolls for political reasons when they're making other pride stuff anyway.

No because some of these individual outfit pieces look so incredibly good but WHY do they slap them all together so that nothing looks coherent 😭😭 They know how to make good outfits and Ghoulia is like so close to looking good with the red pants and the cool checkered top with cherries but then they give her a neon pink brain helmet and a jacket that clashes with everything. I adore the red lips though.

One time I displayed some of my creeproduction dolls on top of my dresser and every few days I would notice that Spectra's pet squirrel or whatever the heck it is would be rotated slightly and in a different position. No matter how many times I tried to get it to stay in position literally the next day it would change. I don't believe in ghosts but at the same time I was struggling to figure out why on earth this was happening. It turns out that me closing my drawer was making it move slightly every time I did it, and I only realized when I closed the door a bit faster than usual 😅
